De Groote Peel
National Park De Groote Peel is the smallest National Park in the Netherlands and is mainly known for its many bird species and the history of peat cutting.
Outdoor center De Pelen
There is a green store and maps and leaflets available. A catering facility with a nice terrace is available. Admission to the visitor center is free. Three marked hiking trails in the national park of two, three and six kilometers start at Buitencentrum De Pelen.
Group programs and excursions
You can also go to Buitencentrum de Pelen for group programs and excursions in nature. The staff at the visitor center will be happy to help you put together and arrange programs for company outings, family days or other special occasions.
